Lyme are a multi-disciplinary team combining architectural, graphical and product design as a platform for exploring ideas and solutions. The team consists of Joint partners; Fola Fakunmoju, Herman Morgan and Vincent Morgan.
We take an intuitive approach to our work which is directed by a broad spectrum of influences and experiences that inform our processes and research, culminating in a unique design output. We enjoy collaboratively engaging social and political arenas that drive cultural and environmental awareness, exposing the regular and irregular, the anomalous and uncanny, the formal and informal within the context of the real and the ordinary. This allows a freedom and diversity in our approach and provides a rigorous testing ground for our ideas.
With the L furniture series, the concept involves the influence of furniture on space through form; defining space through the object as apposed to furniture designed as an object in space. Designed for domestic or commercial use, L01, L02 and L03 comprises wool fabric upholstery with high durability foam.
Wow, will fit nicely in my lounge, hope they are as comfortable as they look, where can i get one???
This is incredible, an opportunity to move from traditional DFS Chairs at last. How much will they cost anyway and are they as comfortable as they look. Well done this is brilliant.
